Controversial High-Street brand H&M has a much desired unisex collection launching soon in a fight against AIDS. Their FAA campaign has been blowing it's trumpet for 4 years strong now, and this year it's better than ever. The Collection will be in shops April 28th.

What's the best investment piece you've bought this year?

My best investment is not a fashion item, but a car. My mini cooper.

Who (Designers and Fashionista's) Should we take inspiration from next year?

Of course Alexendar McQueen's reign still lives on and will still continue to have much influence on fashion. And my biggest inspiration Lady Gaga, her looks will continue to inspire the coming years. I am crazy about shoes, so I hereby also talk about my favorite shoe designer of the moment, Jeffrey Campbell! Soon I will get my first pair of Jeffrey Campbell shoes.

What runway event do you want to / are you attending in the new year?

Istanbul Fashion week!

Which key piece Should we look out for this upcoming spring / summer?

The jeans trousers. The jeans trousers I personally think a great item because you put it on so many different ways to combine. Also very challenging!

Designer or High Street?

I choose the High Street. I love designer, but high-street gives me more inspiration. High street shows possibilities, to clothes to life.

Italian designers Dolce & Gabbana have teamed up with Bacardi’s vermouth brand Martini to launch their Martini Gold by Dolce & Gabbana.

The new drink comes to the shelves in a lavish gold bottle in a black case. The new Martini Gold vermouth is a blend of bergamot from Calabria, lemons from Sicily as well as oranges, Spanish saffron, myrrh from Ethiopia, ginger from India, and cubebe pepper from Indonesia.

In addition Twisted Lifestyle can report that Dolce & Gabbana are also working on a special project titled Quando Quando Quando. From what we understand, this project is a short promotional film as part of a campaign to promote Martini Gold by Dolce & Gabbana

The designers and their representatives are maintaining a low profile on the project, with the film’s official website showing nothing but a countdown to its release.

There’s a trailer out which shows a seductive woman turning heads in an Italian cityscape, it can already be said, however, that the visual language will stay close to the designers’ black-and-white, 1950s-inspired campaign starring Madonna.

The duo at D&G are definitely keeping busy lately and it’ll be interesting to see what they come up with.

Exclusive Interview: Style Gourmand

1.So name one item you want for the new year?

Anything from the Phillip Lim's children's collection in an adult size.

2.Describe your look in one word? (or three!) 

Vintage-inspired minimalism.

3.What catwalk show will you/ would you want to visit next year?

I have always wanted to attend a Christian Dior Haute Couture show. Galliano is not only a master at creating beautifully ornate gowns, but his Dior shows are also such over-the-top theatrical events, that I would really love to see one in person. 

4.Who is your style icon?

Catherine Deneuve in Belle du Jour.

5.Which trend should we look out for this upcoming spring/ summer?

Prints have been popular for the past few seasons and this Spring, I think that mixing and matching bright ethnic prints, like Ikats and African patterns, will be a strong trend. Brands such as Suno and Boxing Kitten use beautiful color prints that are unique and have rich colors. Gwen Stefani also used some fabulous prints from West Africa in her Spring/Summer collection for L.A.M.B.  Of course, prints also look just as good with monochromatic pieces, but the trendsetters will definitely be going all out, experimenting with wearing a multitude of patterns at once.

6.What item of clothing should we shift (bin) and what should we save?

I think that harem pants can be tossed since they are flattering on very few people. You should save those pieces that you really love becuase chances are it will come back into fashion, eventually.

7. Designer or High-Street?

I think how you wear clothes is more important than what brand of clothes you wear. Personal style is all about being creative, not necessarily spending a lot of money. For me, I like to mix classic designer pieces with trendier clothes from High-Street stores.
