Coronation Street's Jennie McAlpine's fashion sense Fiz-zles out as she wears unflattering pink jumpsuit

It's often been said that many actresses end up emulating their on-screen alter egos in real life.
And that seems to be what happened to Coronation Street star Jennie McAlpine, who appeared to have adopted her character Fiz Stape's questionable fashion sense as she stepped out wearing an unflattering pink jumpsuit.
The 26-year-old actress was clearly hoping her outfit choice would see her rise in the fashion stakes, thanks to the current popularity of all-in-ones, but had the opposite effect in her pink satin number which she teamed with a white belt and black heels.

But it was Corrie's on-screen lesbian couple, played by Sacha Parkinson and Brooke Vincent, who really were the fashion queens of the evening - looking stylish in minidresses and heels.
While there was some controversy when it was first announced there would be a lesbian storyline on Coronation Street, the teenage stars have since been praised for their handling of the subject.

And speaking recently, Sacha said she never had any doubt about the reception the storyline would receive.
She explained: 'The story isn’t designed as a scandal just to get viewers. it’s a really well-written, touching love story.
'I’m very comfortable with the story line, and we tried to make it as believable as possible.

Miranda Kerr show's off baby bump at Milan Fashion Week

Pregnant Miranda Kerr shows off her Bloom-ing bump at Milan Fashion Week

Miranda Kerr looked positively glowing as she attended Milan Fashion Week with husband Orlando Bloom.
The 27-year-old model, who is expecting her first child with Bloom, wore a tight black minidress which drew attention to her burgeoning bump as the pair arrived at the P&G Prestige and Vogue in the Italian city.
And Kerr couldn't hide her delight as she posed for photographers outside the event, sporting a glow which only pregnant women can achieve.

Bloom and Kerr arried in Milan on Friday, after taking a trip from Germany, where Bloom is currently filming The Three Musketeers.
And after a romantic meal together at the Da Giacomo restaurant on Friday night, Victoria's Secret model Kerr was clearly keen to make the most of one of the world's foremost fashion events.
Bloom also looked excited about the couple's impending arrival as he attended the Scent Of The Future event, and made sure he kept a tight grip on Kerr as they headed back to their hotel. Bloom-ing lovely: Miranda Kerr showed off her burgeoning bump in a tight black dress as she attended an event at Milan Fashion Week with Orlando Bloom

The couple announced Kerr's pregnancy earlier this year, shortly after marrying in a private ceremony in Anguilla during the summer.
In an interview shortly before the couple got married, Kerr said she always knew Bloom would make a brilliant father.
She said: 'I’ve always thought Orlando would be a great dad.
'I've always wanted kids, so someday, eventually, yes, it will happen.
'My ideal situation would be to live on a farm in a solar-powered house with a hammock and a vegetable patch.'
Bloom also spoke about the pregnancy, saying: 'I'm really excited about it, it's great.'
Referring to the fact that he could be away for much of Kerr's pregnancy, Bloom added: 'I'll go home as often as possible. She'll come out here too.'
Also in Milan at the moment is Kylie Minogue, who made an appearance at the Emilio Pucci Spring/Summer 2011 Womenswear fashion show.
Looking slim and svelte in a gold sparkly minidress, which enhanced her petite but curvy figure, Kylie posed with designer Peter Dundas before taking her seat in the front row alongside Vogue editor Anna Wintour and International Herald Tribune Editor Suzy Menkes.

    Blake Lively: Fashion's Golden Girl

We fell in love with Blake in the fall of 2007, as her alter ego Serena Van Der Woodsen, a rebel everyone inspired to be. Since then things have heated up dramatically for Blake, whisking her into Stardom and the eye of the paps lenses. We can't deny that her angelic bone structure, flamboyance of golden curls and endless legs had us hooked from the minute we saw her; and she's quite the lucky gal with her voluptuous sense of style. But her good fortune didn't end there, we also happen to have noticed her hottie of a boyfriend, Penn  Badgley, whom we would grab the chance at even looking at in the flesh. So, she's got it all and we can't help but feel a tiny bit envious.
Hey Blake! You've got a rather gorgeous Boyfriend, what's your idea of a Romantic night Out?
Blake: New York is so romantic. Rather than planning a night I just get lost in the city. The city romances me as much as a man.
Why don't you like talking about your boyfriend? We would!
Blake: If I were doing another job- like if I were a CEO or something- I wouldn't broadcast my relationship on the table, right? You separate the two. You've got to treat this like any other job- or you might go a little bit crazy!
    Does media attention bother you?
B: It is rather unfortunate to be a victim of it, but the tabloid helps keep the show on everyone's lips. I find photoshoots quite hard because it's just you, and I feel like someones stripped me to the core. That's always difficult for someone like me who shy by nature.
There must be a good side! When were you last starstruck?
B: Penn and I were sitting at a table recently with Karl Lagerfeld, Anna Wintour and Andre Leon Talley from Vogue. We were inches away from Donatella Versace and Jennifer Lopez. It was so surreal- a pinh myself moment.
But your a fashion legend too! How would you describe your style?
B: I don't really know! I love layering things. Autumn is always my favourite time of the year to get dressed. Ever since Topshop came to New York- it changed my life!
What Autumn trends are you excited about?
B: I really like the new craze for darker, studded and slashed things. I like things that are feminine but have an edge. Luella was my all time favourite.
Have you been able to keep any of Serena's outfits?
B: I'm guilty of going for a fitting for Serena and then going and buying the exact same outfit. It a problem for my bank account...
As you are Blake Lively. []
